Christmas morning the kids woke up at around 7:30 a.m. I ended up videoing Lincoln walking in to find what Santa had brought him. So, no pictures of that moment. It was funny though b/c at first he was more focused on finding Santa in the house instead of looking at his toys. It took us a few minutes of convincing him Santa was gone before he would believe us. He ran right to his new drums and started playing away.
Emery also enjoyed checking out the loot that Santa left her as well.
We had lots of fun watching Lincoln and Emery opening their gifts. I also got a Kindle Paperwhite :)
After we opened gifts we took a few pictures.
Later on that evening it started to snow and snowed hard for several hours. I think there ended up being close to 6+ inches by the next morning. Lincoln got out and played in it a little bit but prefered to run around in it instead of touching it. Ha. We drove home the day after Christmas as well. The roads in the LR area were terrible but the farther we traveled north the better the roads. We had a wonderful Christmas break but as always we were so glad to be back home. The only problem has been finding a place for ALL these new toys! A good problem to have, indeed.
